elevator speeches

Interview
(outfit one: top. pants. shoes. necklace. outfit two: skirt. shoes. necklace. lip gloss. shadow. clutch)
Last Wednesday, another university hosted a Fashion Show and seminar for students on what to wear to interviews, work, and internships.  So when they asked me to help style the show, I jumped at the opportunity!  I had so much fun styling the models and learned a lot on what's appropriate in the workplace.  As a result, for the next three weeks every Tuesday, I'll be posting a series of what to wear to your exciting job this summer!

For Interviews, don't be afraid to incorporate color and jewelry.  The company or brand wants to see the true you- so show off your sense of style!  Although, keep the hemlines long, neckline high, heels low, and cover your shoulders. Keep the make-up simple, with pinks and shadows that will help brighten face.  Lastly, carry light- but don't forget a notepad, pen, and your flawless elevator speech.
