menswear: gentleman style

I have an exciting collaboration that was too much fun to do in one post.  Recently, @MarquetteUGent hit the twittersphere and is adored by all his followers.  Here are three essentials for summer, Marquette Gentleman-style.
MU Gent: Sperry Boat Shoes are the most comfortable and versatile shoe I own.  I wear them in the heat of summer and in the frozen Milwaukee winters.  Don't be afraid to rock them with socks in the winter and loafer socks in the summer.  If they start looking rugged with bar-tar, throw them in the wash and let them air dry for a brand-new look.
MU Gent: Bow-ties are perfect for formal or semi-formal events and can be worn with a suit, cardigan, vest or nothing extravagant.  They range from Gingham, to Plaid and solid colors.  I would advise all men to learn how to tie a bow-tie, and to not purchase a pre-tied option. (Cat: how Brad Goreski is that?!)
MU Gent: Coral is making a push this spring, especially in menswear.  These shorts are perfect with a button down, simple t-shirt, or polo.

Stay tuned for more advice by the preppy, anonymous gentlemen on campus!

  2. It's great that you did a post for menswear. I don't see a lot of them out there! The bow ties are great, by the way.
